General Information

Insurance Matters

It is each residents responsibility to insure their own mobile.  Please check that your own insurance contains an element of public liability in the event of any accidents within your mobile.

Safety

It is highly recommended that you install smoke detectors and a dry powder fire extinguisher within your mobile.

Most important.

Cars most slow down whilst in any location within the holiday park. You must confine your speed to 10km per hour at all times.

Maintenance On-site

During the busy period, assistance has been sourced to help Sean in maintaining the complex to the standard expected. Sean has a very busy time with grounds maintenance and general site repairs, and hopefully we are now in a position to get on with other routine maintenance jobs at the same time that might otherwise be deferred due to pressure of work.

Levy Payable by New Members

The Board would remind members that on the transfer of any mobile unit to a new purchaser, that a levy is payable in the amount of €5000.00 in order to enter the Management Company scheme along with a 1% administration cost in dealing with the transfer of License / Management Agreement and other Legal Documents

We would again remind all owners that they should contact the Secretary or a Director of the Company prior to concluding any sale transactions. As to the suitability of the intended purchaser, an informal interview procedure is in place to maintain standards.  Formal approval if granted will be issued to the Vendor so they can proceed with their transaction.

Proposed alterations:-

We would also remind owners that alterations of a material nature ie. decks, change of mobiles, must be approved by the Management Company.  Please refer to your license.  You do not assume approval to make any alterations until confirmed by letter from the Board or its authorised representative.  A drawing must be attached with application for consideration or in the case of a change of mobile, the dimensions of the proposed replacement.

Laundry Equipment

Please note that a token system is in operation, and the relevant tokens can be purchased from

John Roche. Please ensure that you leave the Laundry Room in a clean and tidy condition at all times. Think safety with regard to water spillage / wet floors.

Reminder:

It is a condition of your licence that washing should not be displayed on Decks or in any other area that would cause nuisance or offence to others.  Typically washing should be dried in a discreet location as has always been the practice within Warren Park and I refer to rotating type clothes hangers pegged in the ground within your own Licensed Area.

Dogs

Dogs must be on a lead at all times. You must refrain from allowing dogs to run loose. It was apparent during last season that residents were allowing dogs to run loose first thing in the morning which allowed them to soil common areas, and in turn can be a danger to others both from a hygiene and safety element. Please ensure that any soiling within the Park is cleaned by the relevant owners.

House Rules

Please read the House Rules carefully as they are set out to ensure the safety, comfort and well being of all residents.

Please comply with the Park Managers requests as they are only issued for the common good of the Park.

Parents

Please keep children away from the gate. Instruct your children to refrain from sitting on , or placing their feet on the gate at any time. Make sure that they are aware of potential hazards.

We would remind parents that it is their responsibility to look after the safety and care of their children, and again I would emphasise that it is imperative that you do not allow your children to

play on or around the gate area. There are signs positioned at the gate regarding this issue.

Children are resident on the Park to enjoy themselves, but they are under the express control of their parents, and we would ask that you make them aware of the rules of the Company.

Owners are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times.

The sports and social committee are presently putting together the festivities for the summer season, and naturally through that committee they will keep you all informed along with the proposed activities and any other news that is relevant to the members.

Waste Management Procedures

Again, please familiarise yourself with the waste compactor and it's operation. Operating instructions are clearly displayed on the machine for your guidance. Tokens are available from John Roche

I would suggest that you purchase a good quality 30 Litre heavy duty plastic bin with a lid that can be sealed, and you can then store the bulk of your waste until you wish to use the compactor. The bin will also remove any problems of attracting birds / vermin.

Please also familiarise yourself with the waste separation containers in place, i.e.

Cartons / cardboard / plastics & other.

Gate Zappers.

Should your gate zapper fail to work, please refer to Park Manager

Gate codes were distributed in members letter

Playground Facility:-

The playground facility is in place for the exclusive use of the younger children, and is not to be abused by older kids from within or outside the park. Children must be supervised at all times whilst in the playground area.

Web Page:-

Web address is WWW.WARREN-PARK.COM

Waste Management:-

Please use the Waste Management Facilities as set out on the relevant signs displayed in the service area. In the event of you experiencing any operational difficulties, please contact any member of the

Management Board, or call the Park Manager

The token coins are available in Cullen’s shop. As previously suggested, it would be appropriate to purchase a good quality plastic bin with a secure lid, and same could be stored neatly either in your shed or deck, and this would allow you to store several small bags of waste, rather than going to the compactor with every bag. The bin would prevent any vermin or birds picking at waste food bags, and also think of the cost saving in coins.

Laundry Facility:-

Also, please follow the conditions of use regarding the Laundry area, and always leave in a tidy condition after use.

For example: Glass, Cans, Plastic Minerals, Textiles and Paper etc. We would like to discourage the disposal of, old patio furniture, BBQ’s,  White Goods” e.g., Fridges, TV’s etc., in the Warren Park Skips.

Please bring your “Recyclable Waste” to a recycling depot. There are many recycling depots available in the Wexford/Gorey area.
